Ronald D. Wright

Ron Wright is the founder and Chairman of Next Century Technologies, Inc. and President / CEO of Sands Research Inc.

Mr.  Wright previously was President and CEO of Neurosoft, Inc., a leading manufacturer of neurodiagnostic instruments and neuroimaging systems. He established Neurosoft in 1988 and sold the company to The Marmon Group in the summer of 1998. He also served as Geschäftsführer of the Neurosoft subsidiary, DWL Elektronische System GmbH in Sipplingen, Germany.  This was one of four medical device companies or product lines acquired by Neurosoft after joining The Marmon Group.  

In 2002, Mr. Wright was appointed by Virginia’s Governor Mark Warner to the Board of Directors of the Virginia Biotechnology Research Park Authority in Richmond.  He was also appointed as a Director of the Park’s business accelerator, the Virginia Biosciences Development Center.  Mr. Wright currently serves on the Board of Directors of two privately held corporations not affiliated with Next Century and two non-profit organizations. 

 

Andrew Glover

Mr. Glover is currently Managing Partner at Beacon50, a software development firm specializing in helping corporations realize the benefits of embracing open source solutions and borrowed infrastructures.

Prior to Beacon50, Mr. Glover lead the business and technology strategy of Stelligent Incorporated, one of Next Century Technologies' investments. His primary responsibilities, as President, include the strategic development of Stelligent's products and services and accelerating the company's position as a leader in the field of software quality.

Mr. Glover is an established expert in automated testing frameworks and tools. He is a published author for multiple online publications including IBM’s DeveloperWorks and Oreilly’s ONJava and ONLamp portals; additionally, he is the co-author of “Java Testing Patterns” published by Wiley in September 2004 and is currently co-authoring a book on Continuous Integration for Addison-Wesley. Mr. Glover is a frequent speaker at Java Users Groups around the country as well as a speaker for the No Fluff Just Stuff Software Symposium group.

His interest in building quality into software with technologies that lower software bug counts, reduce integration and testing times, and improve overall code stability led him to found Vanward Technologies in 2001. Vanward was acquired by JNetDirect in 2005 and was renamed to Stelligent in 2006. 

 

David Zerbee, Esq.

David Zerbee, co-founder of Executive Counsel P.L.C., has more than twenty-five years' legal and business management experience. David currently services as Director, General Counsel and Secretary for the Republican Technology Council, a non-profit organization helping bring together policymakers and technology executives on issues that impact the technology industry and society as a whole. David is also the registered Government Relations lobbyist for a number of organizations and governments, including the Taiwan government, The Pain Foundation and PrimeDomain International, Inc.

David served as General Counsel for Vastera, Inc., an international software, information technology, outsourcing and services company in global trade management. Under David’s tenure, Vastera initiated two series of financing rounds, raising over $35 Million. In September 2000, Vastera registered on the NASDAQ exchange with an initial public offering raising $96 Million, while expanding its operations in 14 foreign countries and acquiring 5 domestic and international trade management companies. David’s other responsibilities at Vastera included public SEC requirements, Corporate Governance, Employment Relations, Risk Assessment and Intellectual Property matters. Prior to Vastera, David worked in a senior executive legal role for Anteon International Corporation, an international information technology and services company for federal, state, local and foreign governments. At Anteon, David was responsible for the global expansion of operations in the Pacific Rim and European markets, including a number of acquisitions. Other responsibilities included day-to-day legal issues, surrounding in connection with federal contracting procurement processes. Prior to joining Anteon, David was Senior Counsel for Software AG of North America, Inc. an international software and services company with operations in over 40 countries. His responsibilities included Corporate, Intellectual Property, Governance and Transactional matters. In addition, David assisted in Software AG of North America’s IPO on the New York Stock Exchange in November 1997.

David has been a speaker or panelist in a number of venues on topics including Corporate Transactions, Employment Relations, Intellectual Property and International Expansion. 

 

Scott Raspa

Scott Raspa is currently the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for JNetDirect, Inc.  

Prior to JNetDirect, Scott held sales and sales management positions with TSI and Force 3, leading Government system integrators in the Washington DC Metro area. Scott has experience building sales distribution networks, and extensive experience in selling software and IT hardware and IT services to both Private Sector and Federal clients.
